Iterations is a solo exhibition exploring the use of ceramics as a starting point to delve into other materials—in particular kiln-formed glass, woodblock carving and prints. These new materials reflect the imagery found in much of my sculpture, presenting them in a new light. It has been an exciting exploration, revealing aspects of my sculpture that are not so apparent in clay, while also expanding my own understanding of these materials, and their limitations.
