Ampersand Art Space will join over 100 artists in their studios for the Gateway Arts District, Saturday, May 11, 2024!
The Genesis Project
“The Genesis Project” is an ambitious, year-long collaborative wall exhibition, featuring a group of 10 artists who have been selected by many of the visual art stakeholders in the Gateway Arts District. During each “Volume,” the selected artists will come together to create an immersive wall piece. Each “Volume” will allow artists to use previous work as inspiration to work over or alongside the original piece. The end result will be an all-encompassing mural that defines the creative brilliance that lives and breathes in the Gateway Arts District.
Artomatic
“Artomatic is a an open-entry creative art showcase of visual art, music, film, performance, poetry and fashion.” The event is free to attend and is open to the public.

Art in the Park
Join us for an afternoon of creative exchange by artists living in University Park! This free event will introduce residents and guests to the talented artists living in our town with demonstrations, talks and plenty of artwork.

Movement
Whether in their composition, subject matter, or technique, some artists truly capture a sense of motion—there is a dynamic flow and energy that is immediately evident in their work. From porcelain, watercolor, and acrylic, tophotography, digital prints, and everything in between, these artists use a variety of media to move the viewer.
The dates for this exhibition will also stretch from summer into the fall, so the seasons will create their own wave of change over time.
